Manchester teacher has died in Dubai after losing baby boy, leaving family with £100,000 bills her insurance won't cover
Zoey Campbell-Lowndes, a teacher from Manchester, lost her baby boy at 30 weeks and has been placed in an induced coma in a Dubai hospital, with her liver and kidneys failing after two episodes of internal bleeding requiring transfusions and dialysis. Her partner Kevin and family have been racing to raise £100,000 to cover mounting bills as her condition remains critical.
Zoey's birth plan insurance has covered the baby but excluded maternal medical emergencies, leaving her family exposed.
Over 1,500 donors have already raised nearly £80,000 through a GoFundMe appeal launched by her family.
Her family said: 'No family should ever have to worry about medical costs on top of such unimaginable loss.'
