Marine Le Pen launches her French presidential bid vowing to 'restore the rule of law' and deport foreign criminals

Marine Le Pen told supporters in Orléans that weeks of arson and looting had proved her National Rally right: 'Everyone in France now agrees with us.' The rally came a day after more than 400,000 people protested nationwide and over 1,300 were arrested. Ipsos puts the 58-year-old as first choice for about a third of voters. This is her fourth run for the Élysée.
She branded the 2017 oil exploration ban 'the stupid Hulot law' and vowed to scrap it.
Her 'national priority' pledge would put French citizens ahead of foreigners for public housing.
