Masked schoolboy, 16, GUILTY of attempted murder after stabbing girl, 15, in school toilets — with a kill list in his rucksack

A 16-year-old boy has been found guilty of attempted murder after stabbing a 15-year-old girl in the back in the toilets at Thorpe St Andrew High School in Norfolk, with jurors at King's Lynn Crown Court taking just under four hours to reach a unanimous verdict. Clad head to toe in black and masked with a balaclava, the attacker fled the school, which went into lockdown as armed officers were deployed.
Detective Inspector Kerrie Atkin called it 'a deeply shocking and deliberate attack' causing significant distress.
On arrest, he told officers where he had discarded the knife used in the attack.
Treated in hospital for her back wound, the girl was discharged the day after the 11 March attack.
