Massachusetts mother Lindsay Clancy's lawyer denies she told doctors of homicidal thoughts and insists she won't testify in her ex-husband's lawsuit
Michael Desronvil, the juror whose holdout triggered last month's mistrial, opposed findings that would have cleared Lindsay Clancy of criminal responsibility for strangling her three children.Lindsay Clancy, whose civil wrongful death hearing includes doctors' arguments that they enjoy legal immunity from the lawsuit brought over her children's deaths.
Lindsay Clancy's defence attorney Kevin Reddington flatly denied claims from Patrick Clancy's lawyer Howard Cooper that Lindsay would take the stand at a civil hearing in Massachusetts this week. Cooper had told the court he expected Lindsay to confirm she had warned her doctors about homicidal thoughts before she strangled children Cora, five, Dawson, three, and Callan, eight months old, in January 2023. Reddington countered that she never disclosed such thoughts to her healthcare providers at all.
Separately, prosecutors filed a motion asking a judge to throw out Lindsay's bid to have her murder charges dismissed on double jeopardy grounds.
