Meghan is absent as Netflix confirms Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood and Robert Carlyle for 'The Gentlemen' series three

A friend of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, claimed her name was "used" to hype the show in "the oldest marketing trick in the book". The friend said producers got a big name to read a script, then leaked the talks. Cameras are now rolling on Guy Ritchie's eight-episode third run in the UK and Morocco. Lord of the Rings co-stars Bloom and Wood reunite, and none of the three newcomers has worked with Ritchie before.

A show insider hit back: 'The Gentlemen' "is not a show in need of stunt casting."

Dexter Fletcher, Ed Speleers and Bugzy Malone also join, while Maya Jama returns.

Guy Ritchie: "A third season felt inevitable" and the consequences now "carry weight".
