Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, plans to use an extended Thanksgiving and Christmas stay in Los Angeles to pitch herself to Hollywood's elite after her hopes of joining Netflix series 'The Gentlemen' came to nothing. Her former agent Ari Emanuel confirmed his WME team is still working on her behalf, saying she is "getting booked" with both scripted and reality projects in the pipeline. She has already filmed a cameo alongside Lily Collins in the upcoming film 'Close Personal Friends'.

Meghan's Netflix 'safety net' has gone: her key internal champion Bela Bajaria left the streamer after nearly a decade.

She is also set to co-host Junior MasterChef Australia in early-to-mid 2027, though hundreds of Australians have signed a petition against her casting.
