Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is preparing to bring her As Ever brand to Britain for the first time, marking its first expansion beyond the United States since launching roughly 18 months ago. Food import and export rules are blocking her signature fruit spreads and edible flower sprinkles from the UK lineup, while teas at £11, scented candles at £50, and limited-edition bookmarks at £15 are all expected to go on sale.

The brand's UK push coincides with Meghan donating a day's net proceeds from As Ever jams and teas to the Malala Fund to mark International Day of the Girl.

Meghan, 45, and Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai, 29, were photographed together at Claridge's, where afternoon tea costs £95 per head, before posting a joint statement on Instagram.

One royal expert said Meghan is trying to shed a 'frivolous' image and be taken seriously as a humanitarian, claiming her 'Princess Diana moment' is the ultimate goal.
