Meghan says she kept her father from her children to 'protect them' after police shared 'disturbing allegations' in 2018
Thomas Markle Jr claims he discovered 'hundreds if not thousands' of child abuse images in four boxes at his father's former home in Cebu, the Philippines. Thomas Markle Sr, 82, has dismissed the allegations as 'sick lies' and faces no charges. The FBI is reportedly preparing its own investigation. The Duchess of Sussex describes herself as 'deeply distressed', adding that what has emerged is 'more sickening than one could ever imagine'.
Meghan says a 2018 letter to the Met and royal protection officers was shared with her.
She hit out at 'certain media publications' distortion' of her estrangement over the years.
Thomas Markle Jr said: 'I had no option but to report my dad.'
