Men are charged over 'Breaking Bad' 'meth lab' on Warwickshire farm where five Mexicans face trial

The US Drug Enforcement Agency backed the National Crime Agency investigation into the alleged lab near the hamlet of Furnace End. Kenneth Burton, Paul Harkness Mawby and Anthony Devine, all 34, are due at Teesside Magistrates' Court today. Mohammed Khan, 36, of Sparkhill, is to appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court. All four were arrested on Thursday after searches in Birmingham and the North East.

Four of the five Mexican defendants come from Culiacan in Mexico's Sinaloa region.

The Mexicans deny the charge, claiming they worked on the farm as chefs and builders.

Their trial is set for 15 February at Warwick Crown Court.
