Met Police admits it passed child abuse claims about Meghan's father to the Sussexes but told NO other police forces

Scotland Yard received the letter in January 2019, addressed to its Protection Command amid security concerns about the Duchess of Sussex. After reviewing it, officers concluded it should be forwarded to the couple's office 'for their awareness'. The force is now considering whether to refer itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct. The watchdog says it has not yet been contacted.

Thomas Markle Sr, 82, denies the allegations and has called them 'sick lies'.

Philippine police are investigating material handed over by his son, Thomas Markle Jr.

Meghan dated the letter to 2018, and her spokesman says she 'may have been mistaken by a few months'.
