Met admits it gave the Sussexes a 2019 letter with claims about Meghan's father but told NO other police force
Scotland Yard has confirmed the letter arrived at its Protection Command in January 2019 because it raised concerns about the Duchess of Sussex's security. The force is now considering a referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct, which says it has yet to hear from the Met. Meghan had said she saw the letter in 2018, though her spokesman now says she 'may have been mistaken by a few months'. Thomas Markle Sr, 82, denies the allegations, dismissing them as 'sick lies'.
Philippine police have opened an investigation after Thomas Markle Jr handed over his father's belongings.
Thomas Markle Jr says he is '1,000 per cent confident' the material has nothing to do with him.
Meghan says she cut contact to protect Archie and Lilibet, who have never met their grandfather.
