Meghan is 'upset' after the Met admits it never passed a 2019 letter about her father to other forces

Scotland Yard received the letter in January 2019. It went to the Met's Protection Command because it raised concerns about the Duchess of Sussex's security, and officers passed it only to the Sussexes' office. The Met is now reviewing its handling and weighing a referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct. The watchdog says it has not yet been contacted.

Former royal protection chief Dai Davies: 'I'm gobsmacked the Met didn't inform US authorities.'

Meghan's spokesman says she 'may have been mistaken by a few months' about her 2018 date.

Thomas Markle Sr, 82, is reportedly under investigation in the Philippines and denies the claims as 'sick lies'.
