Met Police arrest man in his 20s over alleged unauthorised access to Jeremy Corbyn's Your Party database

A man aged 26 was arrested in south-west London on Tuesday on suspicion of breaching the Computer Misuse Act 1990. The Metropolitan Police confirmed a criminal investigation into a disputed database linked to the troubled launch of Your Party. The probe follows a complaint lodged in September 2025 after an unauthorised email was sent to around 800,000 party supporters urging them to register as paid members at £55 each. Jeremy Corbyn and Zarah Sultana, who co-founded the party in summer 2025, are not accused of any wrongdoing.
The arrested man has been released under investigation; a 39-year-old woman was also previously interviewed under caution.
Your Party's founding has been dogged by internal disputes, with Corbyn describing a membership payment system as an 'unauthorised email' and Sultana characterising the organisation as a 'sexist boys' club'.
Your Party said its systems are now 'secure' and the incident was 'isolated', but declined to comment further on the ongoing investigation.
