Met Police are hunting a moped rider recorded on CCTV pursuing a 24-year-old e-bike cyclist along North Pole Road, Ladbroke Grove, before a fatal collision at 1am on Friday. The cyclist died at the scene, and Scotland Yard has launched a murder investigation. The moped rider fled and has not been found, with officers appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Detective Chief Inspector Neil John says officers are 'pursuing a number of lines of inquiry' to identify and trace the moped rider.

North Pole Road was shut in both directions, between Wood Lane and Brewster Gardens, for over 16 hours, with buses 7 and 70 diverted.

Those with information should call the Met on 101, quoting 414/25SEP26, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
