The Metropolitan Police have released CCTV footage and images of a man they wish to question over the rape of a 19-year-old woman at a residential address in Prince's Road, Teddington, nearly two years after the offence. The assault was reported in the early hours of 21 October 2024, though detectives believe it happened several hours before officers were called at 1.30am. DC Felicity Briggs, who is leading the investigation, commended the victim's bravery and made a direct appeal to the public to help identify the man in the footage.

Prior to publishing the images, investigators reviewed forensic evidence and went through CCTV and doorbell camera recordings gathered from the surrounding area.

DC Briggs said the team has 'worked hard, examining all the available evidence, to identify the man responsible and hold him accountable.'

Anyone who can help should call police with reference 01/985471/24, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
