Mia Tindall made one of her first competitive appearances at the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials on Sunday, taking part in the Oxfordshire team showjumping event aboard her pony Bunny Two Twirls. The 12-year-old, representing Minchinhampton Pony Club near Stroud, looked composed and polished in pristine white breeches as she cleared the jumps. Olympic medallist Zara Tindall, who had competed at the same event on her own horse, stepped back to cheer on her eldest daughter. A side-by-side photo captured by photographer James Whatling showed the striking resemblance between mother and daughter in the saddle.
Mia's love of horses spans three generations — grandmother Princess Anne competed at the 1976 Montreal Olympics.
Zara groomed Mia's pony, watched her warm-up round, and coached her through the practice jumps before the main event.
Royal fans on X called Mia 'a natural in the saddle', noting she takes after both her mother and her grandmother Princess Anne.
