Michigan man is arrested for allegedly threatening to kill FBI Director Kash Patel and use 'deadly force' in Detroit

Anthony Daniel Palazzolo, 42, of Chesterfield Township, Michigan, was arrested on October 30 after sending Facebook messages threatening to kill Patel, vowing to storm the Detroit FBI office and "use deadly force against every single one of you government officials." He faces one felony charge of interstate communications involving threats, which carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison. The arrest comes on the eve of the midterm elections.

Palazzolo sent a message to an associate on October 8 stating that Patel "is a dead mf too" and branding him a "punk a**."

When FBI agents came to his home, Palazzolo acknowledged sending the messages but insisted he had "no intent to harm anyone."

He also bombarded the Secret Service and the Supreme Court with threatening messages after an FBI agent unwisely handed him his personal contact details.
