Mikel Arteta tells David Raya he can play in Spain on the beach in summer but must stay at Arsenal

David Raya told Marca he would 'love to play in La Liga one day', though he insisted he is very happy at Arsenal right now. The 31-year-old's contract runs until 2028 after his £27m move from Brentford became permanent. He helped fire the Gunners to their first Premier League title in 22 years last season. Arsenal then lost the Champions League final to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties.

Raya: 'I'm Spanish and I'd love to play in Spain, that's obvious.'

The Catalan-born keeper moved to Blackburn Rovers on a scholarship aged 16.
