Minnesota bystander saves 19 children on a runaway school bus after the driver's medical emergency, and credits 'Grey's Anatomy'

Ebro Ahmed, 27, ran toward the bus after spotting it moving forward with its doors open outside a store in the Dayton's Bluff area of St. Paul. He boarded on Monday, but an initial attempt to shift it into park put the vehicle into reverse instead. The children were on their way home from Battle Creek Middle School. The driver has since been discharged from hospital and is recovering at home.

Ahmed said the TV doctors inspired him because they stay calm amid chaos.

Turning around, he found the children 'scared, crying' with phones out to call police.

'It's something you would never think would happen in real life,' Ahmed said.
