Minnesota man who leapt onto a runaway school bus to save nearly 20 children credits Grey's Anatomy for his calm

Ebro Ahmed, 27, was outside a St Paul convenience store on Monday when the bus rolled past with its doors open and its driver having a seizure. He jumped aboard, accidentally threw it into reverse, then got it into neutral and pulled the parking brake. 'In Grey's Anatomy, you never see doctors panic,' he said. A local nonprofit has now handed him a $1,000 cheque.

The Battle Creek Middle School children were unhurt, and the driver is expected to recover.

Ahmed tossed his phone and glasses to one girl so he could focus.

'Even if I were to die, it would still be worth it,' Ahmed said.
