Miquita Oliver reveals she was made homeless AGAIN last year while recording hit podcast from her mum's sofa

Miquita Oliver lost her flat last year due to what she described as "very external circumstances" and was forced to sleep on her mother Andi Oliver's sofa — even as her career was at its peak co-hosting the 'Miss Me?' podcast. She recorded episodes of the show from that sofa throughout the crisis, telling Fearne Cotton on the 'Happy Place' podcast: "Last year, I was in hell. I felt like a failure even though I was probably at the height of my career." The episode also saw the two women publicly reconcile after more than two decades of estrangement.

The latest homelessness echoes Miquita's 2012 bankruptcy, when a £174,000 unpaid tax bill saw her lose her London flat and move in with Andi then too.

Miquita told Cotton she battled alcoholism in her late 20s and early 30s, drinking to cope after losing jobs while remaining famous but broke: 'Everyone knows who you are but you can't go anywhere.'

The pair had not spoken since 2005 when Miquita called Fearne a 'she-devil' in an interview — Cotton broke the silence with a DM after learning of Miquita's crisis last year.
