Reece Guntley, 12, was located by Police Scotland after a three-day search. He had gone missing from Cumbernauld, Lanarkshire, on Thursday, and the last confirmed sighting placed him at Buchanan Bus Station in Glasgow at around 1am on Friday — caught on CCTV still wearing his school uniform — as he got on the number 900 bus to Edinburgh with four girls.

Police said their "concern for Reece was growing" before he was found, and urged the girls seen with him to make contact.

Officers released the CCTV image from that final sighting and were reviewing additional footage from across the city to establish his movements.

A South Wales Police appeal also remains active for a separate missing teenager, Connor, 15, last seen in Llanharan on Thursday morning.
