Mississippi releases bodycam video of an officer shooting boy, 1, dead on his mother's lap after ruling it 'justified'

Kohen Wiley's grandmother, Veronica Roberson, says the word 'justified' has haunted her since the Mississippi Attorney General's office cleared Sgt Hunter Foster. The Senatobia officer opened fire on a fleeing car in a Walmart car park in June while chasing two women over alleged shoplifting. Kohen's mother, Vellesiya Wiley, denies stealing diapers and has not been charged. The family found out the officer was cleared from news reports.

The footage shows the car's wheels turning away from Foster as he touched the bonnet.

Family lawyer Ben Crump: 'Diapers should never cost a baby their life.'

Roberson called the online leak of the video a 'slap in the face' to her family.
