More rain is set to hit America's Four Corners, where 'once-in-a-generation' floods stranded families on rooftops and forced evacuations
San Juan County Emergency Management in New Mexico has warned that the rivers could swell again, with another inch of rain possible on Saturday. Crews have staged 20 rescues around Farmington and Shiprock, where 600 homes were told to leave and about 1,500 people lost power. In Colorado, the San Juan River peaked at 15 feet in Pagosa Springs, its highest level since 1911. No deaths have been reported.
Aimee Goodday's family spent 12 hours trapped on their trailer roof: 'We lost everything.'
Archuleta County Sheriff Mike Le Roux called the volume of water 'unprecedented'.
The flooding ran 3 feet higher than last year's 100-year flood on the same river.
