More than 80 people are injured after a bus collides with a car and plunges 65ft into a Spanish ravine

Seven victims are seriously hurt and 24 have been taken to hospital after the coach left a narrow, winding mountain road at Fogars de Montclus, between Barcelona and Girona. Rescuers are sending drones and sniffer dogs to search around the wreck for missed casualties. Twenty-three ambulances and two medical helicopters raced to the scene. Catalan police are investigating what caused the collision.

Catalan leader Salvador Illa said he was following the crash 'with great concern'.

Some of the wounded managed to walk back up the slope to the road unaided.
