Mother was referred to Prevent for 'over-identifying' with Israel, and police asked whether she had been to Auschwitz

Holly Passmore, 44, from County Durham, opened her door expecting an Amazon delivery. Instead she found two plain-clothes Durham Constabulary officers asking why she had visited Israel. The visit followed an anonymous referral made weeks after her press trip there. Police records later claimed she had mental health issues and was 'vulnerable to negative influence', which she says is not true.

The same police report admitted that backing Israel or travelling there is no counter-terror concern.

After she complained, a superintendent allegedly urged her to stop discussing it online.
