Motorcyclist jailed after riding through a park full of children and was only stopped when police RAMMED him

Dylan Sedgeley, 26, of no fixed abode, has been jailed for 10 months for dangerous driving at Aylesbury Crown Court, to run consecutively to a separate knife possession offence, and banned from driving for three years. At about 2.30pm on 12 August 2025 he rode an unregistered black motorcycle, with no insurance or licence and a passenger on the back, through Northampton's pedestrianised Market Square, then residential streets and Far Cotton Recreation Ground.
PC Tom Williams of Northamptonshire Police said motorcyclist Dylan Sedgeley showed 'a complete disregard' for pedestrians' safety.
Officers' tactical contact, a controlled nudge, was used 'to safely bring a dangerous situation to an end', police said.
Northamptonshire Police said the plate-less bike carrying two riders created 'a significant risk to the public'.
