Motorcyclist who waved at police to goad them into a chase and filmed himself at 189mph is jailed
Amin Belechguer, 29, of Clapham, was sentenced to four years at Maidstone Crown Court after being convicted on 21 counts of dangerous driving. In June 2025, he rode an unplated Kawasaki Ninja H2R past officers on the A20 near Maidstone, hitting speeds above 130mph on roads with 40-60mph limits and crossing solid white lines on a blind hill into the path of oncoming traffic.
Officers abandoned the pursuit for safety reasons, though a stinger was later deployed and shredded his tyres.
He ran into bushes at the side of the road but was apprehended and handcuffed within moments.
His GoPro footage showed wheelies, red-light jumping and 189mph runs across Kent, London and Essex.
