MTV's Real World and Challenge star Anika Rashaun dies of breast cancer at 34, just months after her 'fairytale' wedding

Anika Rashaun was never flagged as high-risk or told to prioritise mammograms, despite her mother's own breast cancer, her best friend Tiara Ramos claims. Ramos called it 'one of the many failures' Rashaun faced in the medical system. Rashaun died on 1 October from stage four breast cancer, diagnosed in summer 2025. She married her longtime love Kyle Rehn in February 2026.

Rashaun appeared on 'The Real World Seattle: Bad Blood' in 2016, then 'The Challenge' a year later.

She and Ramos launched the podcast 'Breast Friends Forever' to urge young women to get checked.

'I just thought... it would never happen to me,' Rashaun said a year before her death.
