Asian equities advanced on Tuesday following Wall Street's rally the previous session, with the Nasdaq composite surging 2.3% to a fresh record as Meta's newly launched Muse AI assistant restored confidence in the technology sector after last week's global tech selloff. South Korea's Kospi rose 1.6%, Taiwan's stock market reached an all-time high, and Hong Kong's Hang Seng added around 0.6%. The S&P 500 climbed 1.5% and came to within 0.4% of its own record, supported by easing Treasury yields and a pullback in oil prices.

Meta's Muse AI launch reignited investor excitement, with analysts saying it could give 'millions of people' persistent AI agents.
