Benjamin Netanyahu marked the third anniversary of the October 7 Hamas massacre by posting an AI-generated Lego animation that rejected claims Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. The bizarre video, which appears to imitate a popular style of Lego content previously used by Iran, arrives as Netanyahu faces mounting scrutiny over new reports that he received high-level intelligence warnings before the attack. Israel goes to the polls on October 27, with the anniversary dominating every campaign poster, speech and debate.

Netanyahu reportedly received warnings from both Emirati and Egyptian intelligence chiefs before the attack but failed to pass those warnings to security aides.

Netanyahu has blocked an independent state inquiry for three years, insisting it should wait until the war ends and claiming that any judge-led panel would be stacked against him on political grounds.

Israel's own IDF chief said at a troop ceremony that military achievements 'do not erase the failure of October 7 and do not diminish our responsibility for it.'
