Officers can be heard saying 'That's 100 percent him' in newly unsealed bodycam footage of Luigi Mangione's arrest at an Altoona, Pennsylvania McDonald's on 9 December 2024, five days after he allegedly shot UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson dead in Manhattan. A female officer is seen smiling as she pulls a gun cartridge from Mangione's belongings, visibly confirming to colleagues they had their man. A Manhattan judge unsealed the recordings on Friday after CNN petitioned for their release.

Mangione, 28, pleaded guilty to federal stalking charges in August and faces life in prison when sentenced in December.

He also faces New York state murder charges, though those proceedings are postponed indefinitely while his lawyers seek to have the case thrown out.

Thompson, 50, was gunned down outside a midtown Manhattan hotel where he was heading for his company's annual investor conference.
