New Jersey man, 22, is fighting for his life after an Italian cliff jump ONE DAY after he proposed

Jacob Fleig, of Berlin Township in Camden County, leapt an estimated 30 metres into the sea at Fiordo di Furore on the Amalfi Coast on October 5. He was rushed to hospital in Castiglione di Ravello, then flown by helicopter to Salerno. His brother Jimmy Dorner says he remains in intensive care. Italian authorities are still investigating what caused the accident.

He was on a dream holiday with his new fiancée, Olivia, when the jump went wrong.

A family friend wrote: 'Jake proposed to Liv the day before this horrible accident.'

His family is now seeking help to bring him home to New Jersey.
