California Governor Gavin Newsom has escalated his feud with podcaster Joe Rogan, branding him a "bull**** artist" and claiming Rogan refuses to invite him on 'The Joe Rogan Experience' because he cannot handle being challenged. Newsom made the remarks in a weekend interview with YouTuber Shelby Church, sarcastically calling the podcaster a "tough guy" and "too chicken." The governor said he has tried to reach across the aisle but has lost interest after two years of weekly attacks from Rogan.
Rogan has repeatedly blasted Newsom on his show, calling him a "con man" who has "ruined California."
Rogan hosted President Donald Trump on his podcast ahead of the 2024 election, which drew massive audiences and is credited with boosting Trump's reach.
Newsom said he is "not even interested" in appearing now, claiming Rogan "doesn't want to be confronted with the bull**** he spews."
