NHS staff who inappropriately accessed tiger attack victim's medical records should be sacked, says Health Secretary Yvette Cooper

Yvette Cooper branded the alleged breach of William Chapman's records 'a total disgrace' and announced that a specific investigation is under way. The Health Secretary, speaking on Sky's Sunday Morning, said she has raised the matter directly with the NHS chief executive. Both agree that staff caught snooping should be suspended while inquiries run. Chapman, 24, was mauled to death at Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster.
His inquest heard he had schizophrenia, and his family had raised concerns over his mental health care.
Witnesses say he leapt from a suspended bridge after asking someone to photograph him with the tiger.
The park insists Altai, the 200kg Amur tiger, is 'safe and well' and will not be euthanised.
