Nigel Farage is booed by his OWN Reform supporters after calling Plymouth 'Portsmouth' at a rally

The slip came as Nigel Farage praised the city's Brexit vote and promised to win back Britain's fishing waters. Standing among signs reading 'live from Plymouth', he told the crowd: 'There is a big fishing fleet here in Portsmouth.' He scrambled to correct himself, adding: 'It's very small in Portsmouth!' The rally was part of his '100 Days to Save Britain' tour.

Robert Jenrick asked the audience to stand if they worked, and only a handful did.

YouGov has Reform on 22%, behind both the Conservatives and Labour.

Farage still faces a standards probe over an undeclared £5m gift from Christopher Harborne.
