Norfolk paedophile who filmed young girls showering for five years is jailed after one victim found the hidden phone camera

Gaven Clarke, 41, of Drayton, near Norwich, secretly filmed girls showering and using the toilet between 2020 and 2025, and was sentenced to three years and eight months at Norwich Crown Court on Thursday. His crimes unravelled when a girl found his phone hidden behind toiletries on a bathroom shelf and discovered footage of herself. Clarke admitted two counts of voyeurism, four counts of making indecent images of children and three counts of taking indecent images of children.

Forensic examination of Clarke's seized devices uncovered images of further victims who had no idea they had been filmed.

Clarke has been placed on the sex offenders' register for life and is subject to restraining and Sexual Harm Prevention Orders.

One victim said in court: 'Now when I walk into a public toilet I am constantly looking around to check if there are any devices.'
