Northern Ireland's legal bodies condemn Tory MP Sir David Davis and demand he withdraw his 'IRA lawyers' remarks
The Law Society of Northern Ireland's president has called on Sir David Davis to withdraw remarks the society branded 'grossly irresponsible'. The Bar of Northern Ireland has also condemned the comments. Solicitor Kevin Winters called them 'odious, irresponsible and dangerous'.
Northern Ireland's First Minister blasted the 'IRA lawyers' comment as 'shameful'.
John Finucane called the remarks 'contemptible'.
