'Norway makes s**t houses great again': Norway's tourist board trolls Trump with scenic toilet list after his Nobel jibe
Visit Norway, the country's official tourist board, published a list of its most scenic lavatories days after Trump called Norway a "s**t house country" at a Michigan rally, furious that the Nobel Peace Prize went to human rights lawyer Navi Pillay instead of him. The stunt, captioned "Norway makes s**t houses great again", featured architecturally striking public toilets from across the country's scenic routes.
Trump said he would bar Norwegian immigrants specifically "because I didn't get the Nobel Prize", using language he has previously aimed at Haiti, Libya, Somalia and Yemen.
One toilet on Visit Norway's list was described as "the next best thing" to "a gold-plated toilet seat" — a pointed nod to Trump's famously gilded décor.
Senior Visit Norway adviser Evgenia Egorova said: 'Sometimes it doesn't take much, just a little do-it-yourself humour and fantastic Norwegian architecture.'
