'Nothing like seeing a cult': A rally-goer compares Trump's crowd to Jonestown live on Fox News in South Carolina

An anti-Trump critic referenced the Jonestown massacre at Thursday's Rock Hill rally, leaving Fox correspondent Lucas Tomlinson scrambling to end the live interview.

Tom Hoyle, a 57-year-old anti-Trump critic, infiltrated a Fox News live interview at Thursday's Rock Hill, South Carolina rally by posing as a supporter before comparing the MAGA crowd to the 1978 Jonestown mass-suicide cult.

Fox correspondent Lucas Tomlinson was left stunned and scrambled to end the interview, muttering 'maybe this is not a Trump supporter.'

Trump was in South Carolina rallying for Darline Graham, sister of the late Senator Lindsey Graham, in a Senate race Republicans privately call 'a f---ing train wreck.'

The clip went viral, with critics online hailing Hoyle as a 'legend' while furious MAGA supporters demanded he be tracked down.
