'Now it works': Zelensky says US has restored Russian missile warnings after Oslo talks with Trump envoy Witkoff
Ukraine suffered three Russian ballistic missile strikes last week with no advance warning from the US, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky. Secretary of State Marco Rubio dismissed as 'scandalous' any suggestion that Ukrainians were dying because of the gap, attributing it to a 'technical matter'. US envoy Steve Witkoff is due to meet Vladimir Putin in Russia on Wednesday, with Jared Kushner joining those talks by video link.
Finland's Alexander Stubb said 'genuine progress' had been achieved but cautioned that patience would be required.
President Trump maintained that Zelensky 'could have made a deal two years ago'.
Kyiv says Washington is delaying Patriot interceptors that European nations have already bought.
