Nurse is struck off after faking five patients' records to get cheap NHS weight-loss drugs for herself

Sarah Jayne Didymus was caught when Boots pharmacy called Port View Surgery in Saltash, Cornwall, to flag an unusually high volume of Ozempic dispensed to a single patient. The advanced nurse practitioner had been printing paper prescriptions to keep them off the electronic system, then closing each course on the patient's record to conceal what she had done. Colleagues had noticed she had 'lost a lot of weight'.

The Nursing and Midwifery Council branded her conduct 'devious, sustained, calculated and planned'.

She restarted Trulicity for a patient who had previously suffered an adverse reaction to it.

One Ozempic prescription was cancelled just 20 minutes after she printed it, with 'error' given as the reason.
