Trump is to rally Michigan voters a day after Obama accused him of 'chaos, cruelty and corruption'
President Donald Trump heads to Port Huron having not campaigned in Michigan at all this year, despite its knife-edge Senate race between Republican Mike Rogers and Democrat Abdul El-Sayed. Barack Obama got there first, telling a Detroit crowd: 'We have never seen a president excel in straight-up grifting on your dime like this.' Trump told a Georgia rally this was 'the golden age of America'. Voters go to the polls on 3 November.
Obama mocked the gilded White House makeover: 'Like Saddam Hussein opened a Cheesecake Factory.'
Obama blamed soaring fuel prices on 'an unnecessary war that nobody asked for' with Iran.
Trump warned that Democrats plan to 'loot your wealth' and 'annihilate your borders'.
