Evri recorded a 42% dissatisfaction rate in Ofcom's annual parcel survey — the highest of any operator — while Yodel scored 33%, with both finishing bottom for the fourth consecutive year. Satisfaction across all firms fell to 75% in 2026, slipping from a steady 78% held since 2023, as UK parcel volumes reached a record 4.6 billion sent and received last year.

Some 71% of recipients — seven in ten — flagged a delivery problem over the previous six months, up from 68% the year before.

Amazon and FedEx led the field, each posting just 15% dissatisfaction and 56% satisfaction.

Ofcom will set out in December's annual postal market monitoring report whether further action is required.
