Ohio's Vivek Ramaswamy is confronted by a heckler over an attack ad featuring his rival's estranged mother

The protester in Westerville shouted 'she was 12 years old' before a police officer escorted him out. In the ad, Donna Arthur calls her daughter, Democrat Amy Acton, 'a liar' and urges Ohioans not to elect her governor. Republican Vivek Ramaswamy is backing a $4 million push behind the spot. 'It is an ad from our campaign,' he told reporters.

Acton alleges her late stepfather raped her as a child and her mother refused to believe her.

Court records show the stepfather was indicted in 1978 for raping his 12-year-old stepdaughter.

Acton is leading Ramaswamy in the polls despite being vastly outspent.
