Ohio sheriff says evidence points to murder-suicide after disabled toddler and grandparents were found shot dead following 911 'help' plea

Gale Sanders, 67, Melissa Campbell, 51, and their 22-month-old grandson Kozza Lotut were discovered on Wednesday at a home on N. Cherry Street in Gnadenhutten, south of Canton. The couple regularly helped look after the little boy's medical disabilities. Tuscarawas County Sheriff Orvis Campbell said a gun lay beside one victim but would not name the suspected shooter. Autopsies will be carried out in Cuyahoga County.

The first 911 call came at 4:17am and cut out before dispatchers could trace it.

A voice softly saying 'help' was heard on one of several callbacks.

The phone was a spare that its owner had lent to an associate, police discovered.
