Ola Jordan says daughter Ella has been her 'ray of sunshine' through 'darkest days' of James split

Former Strictly Come Dancing professional Ola Jordan has spoken publicly for the first time about enduring her 'darkest days' since separating from husband James Jordan after 22 years of marriage. Jordan, 43, posted an emotional Instagram message saying her heart has 'felt heavier than I ever imagined it could' and that 'life has changed in ways I never expected'. She said six-year-old daughter Ella, conceived through IVF after a three-year fertility struggle, has been her anchor through an 'incredibly tough' summer.
The couple confirmed their split earlier this month in a joint Instagram statement revealing James had already 'moved out of the family home some time ago.'
Ola described the summer holidays with Ella — 'making memories, having cuddles, laughing until our tummies hurt' — as her 'greatest comfort.'
James told ITV's 'This Morning' separately that 'it's been a tough few years' between him and Ola.
