OpenAI boss Sam Altman wins dismissal of his sister's US abuse lawsuit after she skipped an independent medical exam three times

US District Judge Zachary Bluestone dismissed Ann Altman's claims with prejudice, ruling that she had brought the case to a standstill "through her intransigence." Her lawsuit alleged that her brother abused her at the family home in Clayton, Missouri, between 1997 and 2006, when she was as young as three and he was 12. Sam Altman, 41, denies the allegations. Her lawyer, Laura Politi, has not commented.

The Altman family says Ann has mental health challenges and receives monthly financial support.

Sam Altman says the accusations emerged only after the family turned down her requests for additional money.

Ex-lawyer Santos Perez, who withdrew this month: "I continue to believe in Annie."
