Oppo 'flooding POTUS every hour' to destroy Susie Wiles as five rivals scramble for her White House job
Donald Trump and Susie Wiles, his White House chief of staff, whom Trump has privately been asking Republican allies whether to fire — even as he publicly insists she has his "complete confidence.
Rival factions inside Trump's inner circle are waging an all-out war to topple White House chief of staff Susie Wiles before the November midterms, with damaging material reportedly being fed to the president about her and her allies around the clock. Three competing camps — Wiles loyalists, Jared Kushner allies, and the MAGA old guard — have each lined up preferred successors. Trump publicly insisted Friday there is 'zero chance' he replaces her, calling Wiles 'phenomenal', but biographer Michael Wolff says the president's habit of asking around about aides is 'the kiss of death'.
The five names circulating as replacements are Stephen Miller, Bill Pulte, Steve Witkoff, Brooke Rollins and wildcard John McEntee, Trump's former personnel chief who once purged officials deemed disloyal.
Trump aide Natalie Harp — dubbed his 'human printer' — reportedly triggered a White House 'freakout' after showing Trump a printed newsletter about the Wiles rumours, prompting him to make yet more calls to allies about her future.
Wiles allies James Blair and Chris LaCivita are also under fire over reports of large fees earned advising a pro-Russian region in Bosnia, with Wiles' own daughter linked to a lobbying firm registered to work for the territory.
