'Our hearts are broken': Louise Redknapp reveals her beloved dog Rudi has died after 12 years

The former Eternal singer, 51, said Rudi had been her 'shadow' since the family got him as a 'tiny wrinkly puppy'. She said he had grown old watching her sons Charley, 22, and Beau, 17, grow up. She shared a series of photos and memories of him on Instagram on Wednesday. She signed off her tribute 'Love you forever. Mummy, Chaz, Beau and Banksy.'

Rudi earned the nickname 'Roudini' for escaping every barricade built to contain him.

Rudi 'kept Banks in check from day one' and pawed everyone for strokes.

She urged him to 'chase those squirrels over the rainbow bridge' and rejoin Blu.
